and other sundry items. Cleaning in of itself is not exactly exciting, enthralling or much reveled in....but the effects are amazing! Today I cleaned the chicken pen out and it is ready for our lovely silver laced wyandottes.
As I was taking out all the lovely compost, nitrogen rich and waiting to fertilize some patch of earth it seemed ridiculous to think, naw we should should pile this and use chemical fertilizer... Not only do these pretty chickens provide us with a plentiful amount of fresh eggs they also clean up bugs and scratch and move massive amounts of manure and turn it into fertilizer. We should be paying them!
OK, not sure what they would do with that.
